1. Have a consuming passion - The common thread among these entrepreneurs is an all-consuming passion... one might even call it an addiction. It's the kind of passion that if you stopped getting paid tomorrow, you'd continue doing what you're' doing. This doesn’t mean you sacrifice everything for “passion” including your lifestyle or personal obligations. It also doesn’t mean that you do what you do best (comfort zone) --- a recipe for disaster in managing small business.
2. Have an impersonal goal - To be truly successful, the goal mustn't be about you, or about how much you'll gain. It’s about something much bigger. It's about the impact you'll have on other people and on the world around you. When you're doing something that's bigger than yourself, it's an amazing motivator. “We’ve discussed this a lot and it’s important to note that if you don’t have a goal or goals you are simply wandering in the dessert or in sailing terms bobbing in the waves without a rudder. Achieve clarity on what you want less of, what you want more of and quantify your goal of what you want out of your business system. Whether it’s multi-level marketing (MLM), or a bricks and mortar with employees, you must set an impersonal goal to focus your attention on for the future growth and success of your company.
