![]() Traffic Funneling Secrets Submitted by Brian Horn, Horndog Marketing 713-340-0375 / brian@HorndogSearch.com / www.HorndogSearch.com This special report will show you how to drive traffic from the Facebook “universe” into your business’s Group (where you can send updates and market to them at any time). The easiest way is to find relevant local groups that already have your targeted prospects as members. Here’s the process… Search for local area Groups (Houston Twitter Users, St Louis Photography Fans, etc). Anything that targets people within the area of your business. Join one Post a comment on the wall (i.e. “Glad I found this Group…I look forward to getting to know everyone!” Invite the group admin to be your Friend and thank them for creating the Group. Try to interact with others in the Group by participating in the conversations (on the Wall, commenting on pictures and videos, etc) Once you interact with someone, invite them to be your Friend. After you are established in the Group, invite all members to be your Friend one by one. Invite all new Friends to join your business’s group and offer a coupon, passes or something special for joining. Pretty straight forward stuff…but it will get you on the fast track to building your following. Here’s My Super Slick Secret One of the most powerful ways to build a Group’s size is virally. Whenever someone joins your Group, all their Friends will see that in their Updates. Most people will not rush to join a business’s Group. So how can you use the power of the viral marketing in Facebook? Well, almost EVERYONE in Facebook love to join groups will really cool names that they find interesting. So…Create a Group that has NOTHING to do with your bar…but does have a strong tie to something local. A great one is to simply great a Group named, “{YOUR CITY} is the GREATEST Place on Earth”. Everyone should do this one. Invite all your Friends that live in your city to join. They’ll most likely join, and ALL THEIR friends will see that they joined. Almost every single one of their friends that lives in your area, that sees the update on their friends page, will also join….then their friends, then their friends, etc. When people join, ask if they want to be an admin also…and ask them to tell you what their Title should be. Tell them to be creative (Doctor of Mass Beer Consumption”, “Proud Papa”, etc.). It really gives the group some personality, and if you make someone an Admin, they will likely help you grow the group. THE TITLE OF THE GROUP IS EVERYTHING…you have to come up with something fun. Here are some examples: • Cruisen’ Alvin in the 80’s • Pearland Mommies • Austin, TX Music Fans You’ll get a LOT of locals that sign up…and spread it to their friends. Once someone joins…you can add them as Friends. Don’t invite them to join your group right away…comment on something on their Wall first. Then wait a day or 2 comment on something again…then invite to them to join your group. Once they are in your business’s Group, you can start marketing to them and inviting them to events. But it’s not over yet… The whole key is to eventually get them to join your website’s mailing list…because if Facebook goes away one day…you’ll lose contact with ALL those people. So you need to push them to your website…where you should have a signup form to capture email address. That’s it…good things come in small packages right? This is a short report, but the info contained in it can save you hundreds of hours of building your network.
