![]() Right Timing Submitted by Tina Smith, Life Coach, TT&J Associates LLC 713-819-4745 / TinaSmithLifeCoach@gmail.com / www.TinaSmithLifeCoach.com Time can be allusive. In the Devine Matrix, Gregg Braden devoted several chapters to time and its relationship to space. Gregg references the poet Henry Van Dyke and how he reminded us of our ironic relationship with time when he wrote: “Time is... / Too Slow for those who Wait, / Too Swift for those who Fear, / Too Long for those who grieve, / To Short for those who Rejoice, / But for those who Love, / Time is not.” It seems as if time is in the eye of the beholder. This was of interest to me as I am currently creating a new business process. I am anxiously waiting to have it all complete and working within it. However I know that it is already fabulous. I know that it is already working. I am so very excited and truly grateful for it. As I move forward I keep reminding myself, Right Timing. Breathe, focus, work on creating, get things lined and aligned. I of course want it NOW. How about you? Ever felt this when something new was heading your way? What does Right Timing mean to you? Have you ever created something and presented it at work only to be told that it wasn’t the Right Time? Have you ever really liked someone and wanted to move into a deeper relationship with them and it didn’t work, it just wasn’t the Right Time? How about when everything clicked and the new exercise routine fit beautifully into your schedule, the families schedule and life, it was the Right Time! In these situations it seems as if the whole of the Universe aligned and everything fell right into place… ahhhh perfectly. Right Timing. To me, Right Timing is when something, (the project, romance, fitness, schedule, hobby, new job, leaving the old job) is meant to be. Like the 1995 movie Waiting to Exhale. Right Timing is when I exhale. Since I like to breath, I have decided I am going to inhale and exhale on an ongoing basis. Why live in the “time” when I believe everything “is”. Let’s take my current situation and apply it to the poem. If I am waiting for the new process to start Time is to Slow. If I am afraid of the new process, Time is to Swift. If I am sad about stopping the previous process Time is to Long. If I am happy about leaving the old process Time is to Short. We have talked before about how I create my reality through my choices. So, I am going to choose to Love the process of creating the new process. Be in the moment right now. When I Love right Now, Time is Not. Where are you at right now? Place a current “something” in the poem for your self. Is time to slow, swift, long, short? Are you ready to choose to Love that “something” as it is right now? If yes, you will make Time Not! (Because it will be Right Timing!!) “To see a world in a grain of sand, and Heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.” - William Blake (1757-1827) About Our Show Advisor: Walk a discovering path with Tina Smith, Life Coach.
