Carl works at United Space Alliance (USA), NASA's primary Space Operations Contractor for the International Space Station and Space Shuttle. He currently manages around 30 Flight Controller-Instructors in the ISS (International Space Station) Motion Control System Department who work in the Mission Control Center. His topic will be “US Human Space Flight 2008,” updating us on NASA's pulse for the future, the International Space Station's potential after the Shuttle program expires, the Constellation Program (to the Moon and Beyond), and Space Tourism (how about a vacation in space?). This talk will cover the current developments in Human Space Flight and what is coming in the near future both on public and private funded efforts.
